Built from field experience
Formict was born from watching field service companies struggle with disconnected tools — a spreadsheet for schedules, a paper form for inspections, a WhatsApp group for dispatching, and manual route planning that took hours each morning.
We combined route optimization (powered by Google OR-Tools), job management, custom forms, GPS tracking, and a mobile app into a single platform. The result is a system where operations managers can optimize routes in minutes instead of hours, and field workers have everything they need in one app.
The platform is designed around constraint satisfaction — the same mathematical framework that powers logistics at the largest scale. Time windows, vehicle capacities, skill requirements, break schedules — the solver handles all of it simultaneously.
