Can Formict replace our current TMS?
Formict covers the core TMS functions: route planning and optimization, fleet management with cost tracking, job lifecycle management, real-time GPS tracking, proof of delivery via custom forms, and performance analytics. For integration with existing ERP or WMS systems, the public REST API with API key authentication supports read, write, and admin scopes.
How does cost tracking work?
Each vehicle has three cost parameters: fixed cost (per-use charge), cost per kilometer, and cost per hour. The route optimizer can minimize total cost as an optimization goal, factoring in all three parameters across the fleet. Analytics dashboards show total cost per optimization run, enabling cost comparisons across different scenarios.
Does it support proof of delivery?
Yes. Custom forms can be attached to any job and filled out on the mobile app. The form builder supports 17 field types including photo capture, signature pad, geolocation stamp, and file upload — all the elements needed for digital proof of delivery. Forms are submitted with offline support and auto-sync.
How do we track fleet performance?
The analytics dashboard aggregates daily KPIs: jobs created vs completed, completion rate, on-time percentage, average planned vs actual duration, distance and cost per route, and optimization success rates. Filter by date range, worker, status, or location to drill into specific areas.
Can we integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. The public API at /v1/public supports full CRUD for jobs, customers, vehicles, locations, and shifts with API key authentication. Webhook automations can POST job data to external systems on events like job creation, status changes, or form submission — with HMAC signing for security.
